I’m about to turn 76, and have never felt as young as I do now from working out with Mark. He carefully tailors his workouts to your strength level and the progress you make.
I decided to start working with a trainer because I needed help in developing workouts that would not exacerbate several injuries. I chose Mark because he seemed to have experience with similar people and because I was impressed by the thoroughness of our initial phone conversation. He really probed to understand my fitness goals, injuries, things I enjoy, etc.
His workouts have been similarly thoughtful and feel individualized and tailored to me; not the cookie-cutter type workouts of some other trainers. I highly recommend him.

I’ve been training with Mark for 2 1/2 years and stayed in great shape. He is amiable, reliable and knowledgeable about your body. He is also willing to work with injuries. I highly recommend him. Make sure you add boxing to the routine. It’s fun and gets you into great shape.Just don’t punch Mark. I need him around.

Have been training now with Mark for about 2 months and can already say I am seeing major results not only in my physical strength but my energy level have increased tremendously…Mark is extremely knowledgable in exercise-physiology for each of his clients he trains he is able to manipulate exercises to fit there specific needs due to any sort of previous injury(ies) while still getting a intense workout…..he is also extremely thorough in his exercise & diet regime for his clients …..he has definitely helped teach me how to eat clean and workout hard to achieve the results I have set…having Mark on your side definitely helps..he makes you feel like it’s a team effort which is great…to know someone is really cheering you on to accomplish your weight loss goals…along with his extensive professional knowledge Mark is a very kind, caring, energetic, humble, reliable, down to earth, witty, charismatic young man…to sum it up working out with Mark is like working out with a great friend the hour honestly just flies by, BUT trust me the next day you will be feeling all those muscles you worked!!! I’ve been training with Mark for over 5 years. Mark helped me to transform my body. When I began the program, I was the biggest I have ever been in my life in terms of weight. Not only was my self esteem down but I was concerned about my health since my father had died of a heart attack at the age of 56. I was 44 at the time and the future looked grim. I have since lost over 40 pounds and am now pretty muscular. Working out has now become a part of my daily routine instead of a chore. Mark constantly changes my workout so that my body does not plateau. He incorporates different elements besides weight training and aerobics to his workouts. Boxing is one of my favorites. Recently, my body has been very sore and Mark is instructing me in myofacial release which helps in recovery and pain. He’s also pretty good with nutrition and will stay on top of your diet as part of his daily rapport with you. I highly recommend Mark Darco to anyone looking for someone who knows his stuff. Results are a given if you stay committed.
Boxing is fun and exhilarating. It develops confidence and balance. It doesn’t feel like your working out.

I first met Mark the summer of my wedding. I signed up for his bootcamp class to get in shape for my wedding and I couldn’t have made a better decision. Not only was Mark professional and thorough he was easy to work with and made working out fun! I now use Mark as my personal trainer. We meet twice a week and for an hour each session. I have noticed great changes in my body over the last 2 months and couldn’t have been happier with the results. Our sessions are an hour long and we do a whole body workout and end with boxing. I highly recommend Mark as a trainer.
Mark is without a doubt, Great at what he does. I was recently diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis which is pain, swelling, or stiffness in one or more joints. Pain in and around the feet and ankles, especially tendinitis in the Achilles tendon or Plantar fasciitis in the sole of the foot. pain in the area of the sacrum (the lower back, above the tailbone). Along with the above noted pain and inflammation, there is extreme exhaustion that does not go away with adequate rest. The exhaustion may last for days or weeks without abatement. Psoriatic arthritis may remain mild, or may progress to more destructive joint disease. Periods of active disease, or flares, will typically alternate with periods of remission. Mark sits down and goes over your medical history and what your goals are. He even notifies your primary physician to get the okay for you to workout. Mark takes his job seriously which I love and admire. he’s a NO HOLDS BAR kind of trainer. He will not push you where you cannot go. He genuinely works with you and how much YOU can do. he also goes over nutrition with you. The most important thing is he has you stretch before, during and after your workout. He allows your body to rest for one day. (This is important for your muscles). He personally is unique. he is such a gentleman and a funny guy at times… as well as a sweet overall guy. Don’t take him for granted. He loves what he does. I guarantee you, Mark has become my addiction and a good one at that… He is very much well worth the workout. LOVE HIM!!! I wish this business would move to NJ, or I lived in NYC again. I miss my first love in personal trainers. I had several before Mark and many after, but none compare to Mark Darco and the results I received from his training.
The ruptured dic in my lower back has healed without any surgery, thanks to Marks recommendation of a great Sports Doctor and his constant contact with the Dr. about my exercise program and progress. How many trainers take that much interest in their clients? Not many. If not for this man I would not be training at age 63, and I would not be able to enjoy my favorite sport scuba diving.
Need to add another comment.. all of my other PT’s since Mark have never had to correct my posture in any exercise ever, never once! Other trainers have pointed out my posture to their clients! Thank you Mark for the rest of my life…really want to train with you again if logistics were possible!
I had lost all hope of ever recovering the body of my youth but through Mark’s guidance and at home personal training I have reclaimed it. I can’t recommend him enough.
I have been working with Mark for over a year and have achieved results with him that I never did in my 30 previous years working with personal trainers. Before I started training with Mark, I thought I was going to have to go up a suit size. Now, thanks to Mark’s help, I’m closer to going down a suit size.
I’ve worked with Mark both as an individual personal trainer and in boot camp. The boot camp has been a great compliment to the personal training. Mark’s boot camp incorporates not only a lot of strength work, but cardio to increase the calorie burn. He also keeps it fun by using the fact you are working out in a group to do new types of exercises that lets you feel like you’re just outside playing games rather than exercising.
I am a lifelong runner and a marathon runner, in only seven months with Mark I have gained significant strength which has really helped my running. I have achieved many PR’s this year, and I attribute much of this improvement to the work I have been doing with Mark.
I’ve always been active and worked with personal trainers in the past, but I’ve never gotten as many compliments on how I look as I have since I’ve been working with Mark. Mark has also provided me some solid, reasonable facts and suggestions with respect to eating which I’ve incorporated into my day and have probably helped in my overall fitness. Mark also introduced me to boxing which I’ve learned is a fun, challenging way to get fit. Mark loves what he does and personal training is a serious career for him. I highly recommend him.
