Boxing Training for Fitness and Fun

” I hate exercise but I love boxing”, that is what one of my personal training clients exclaimed with a big smile on her face. Many of my personal training clients have expressed the same sentiment. Why is boxing so much fun? Well, for one thing, it’s a tremendous release of tension and stress which is so abundant in NYC. In today’s fast paced society we need to relax and unwind and what better way to do it than with a little fitness boxing? Throw a few punches at some target mitts. Pretend those mitts are your boss, enemy or someone who jilted you?  Oh, and did I mention that it’s empowering? You’ll feel like you can take on the town bully. Kick his bu&%! Now I wouldn’t go testing this theory, but people do feel empowered putting on some boxing gloves, taking a lesson, then how should I say it, go nuts!

Did I mention that boxing is good for your health? – Cardiovascular health, coordination, balance, muscle tone and strength.
